Biography
Dr Ali Jude Igyo is a bonafide alumnus of the University of Abuja, with a strong academic background and a proven track record of leadership and service. He attended University of Abuja in 2004 and graduated in 2008 with a B.Sc degree in Banking and Finance.

He attended University of Abuja in 2004 and graduated in 2008 with a B.Sc degree in Banking and Finance. He proceeded to enroll for a Master of Science Degree (M.Sc) in Banking and Finance in 2013 at the University of Agriculture Makurdi (now Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University), Makurdi which he bagged in 2015. Jude's academic prowess continued as he proceeded to the Nnamdi Azikiwe University in 2017 and successfully graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (Ph.D) in Banking and Finance in 2021.
Dr Ali has worked in various capacities, including as part-time lecturer, Fidel Polytechnic Gboko, Benue State Internal Revenue Service (BIRS) where he performed various roles in different Departments, including as Account Reconciliation Officer, Assistant Project Manager/Supervisor - Taxpayer Identification Number, Motor Licenses Officer, Gboko, and rose through the ranks to Area Tax Officer of Guma and Ukum LGAs respectively during which he raised the internal revenue profile of these Areas to an unprecedented level beyond the expectations of his principals; a development for which he was duly applauded by the BIRS Management.
In 2022 he withdrew his services from the BIRS as a Senior Inspector of Taxes to contest for the House of Representatives for Buruku Federal Constituency under the platform of the APC but was requested to step down. After a stint in politics, Dr Ali proceeded to pick up an appointment with Mewar International University, Karu, Nasarawa State where he is currently an Assistant Professor at the University.
His hard work and capacity to serve as an emerging young leader, attracted the Executive Secretary Nigerian Shippers Council, Barrister Pius Akutah, MON, to appoint Dr Jude Ali as his Senior Special Assistant on Trade Facilitation and Benue North West, a role he is effectively discharging.
Ebullient Ali is verrsed in group dynamics and Union activities, as well as leadership as he had served in different positions as PRO, Auditor, (CTS and NUBESS), Pioneer Speaker of Nigerian Universities Accounting Students (NUASA) Parliament at the University of Abuja, and Secretary-General, University of Abuja Alumni Association - Benue State Chapter, and in all these positions Dr Ali distinguished himself in various assignments.
Dr. Ali is passionate about education, youth development, and community service. He is committed to harnessing his skills and experience to serve the University of Abuja Alumni Association and contribute to its growth and success.
He is happily married to Florence Memshima Ali and the union is blessed with 3 lovely children.
